As we emerge from the pandemic, towns will once again look towards rebuilding their economies and their futures.
Importantly, the Town Square House proposals are consistent with national and local planning policy to support the health and vitality of our high streets by redeveloping under-utilised brownfield sites and improving the public realm.
Hythe is well served by national supermarket chains, including Aldi, Iceland Foods, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose & Partners, and the repurposing of the vacant large retail unit into smaller ones, combined with residential accommodation, will help sustain the town’s local economy.
